The Ministry aims to implement the state policy in the field of culture, art, conservation and use of historical and cultural heritage, inter-ethnic relations. In the immediate tasks of the Ministry is to create conditions for maintaining and developing a culture of peoples living in Bashkortostan.

To implement the state policy in these areas have the necessary capacity.

So, today preserved and multiply network of cultural institutions (archives, museums, libraries, theaters, a philharmonic, studio, circus, concert and exhibition halls, the system of vocational education).
